OVERVIEW

As a composer, I have to seriously entertained the possibility that"The Cello/Piano Notebooks", can be of use to introduce new, and exciting music into someone’s life. These duets, are a direct proof that the vast and fantastic world of music, not only serves as a form of entertainment, but it could also be a way of life. 

• One must not be suspicious of the man who takes pleasure in music and sounds, but rather measure how well he sharpens his spirit by them. 

In any case, it will be my honor to know, if some enthusiastic, amateur musicians discover and have the opportunity to play what I consider to be friendly, and fairly easy to play compositions.

Music and LIFE:

Music could be a way to describe feelings, events, situations. This Notebook is packed with stories of my life. With the music from this notebook, I hope to communicate a little bit some of my personal feelings and opinions, while keeping in mind, the similarities that exist between music and life itself.

CALIFORNIA Sessions:

The music represents my life in California. Living here for 26 years, had marked a path in the way I see this beautiful state, and I wanted to paint a beautiful music postcard of the places I've lived and visited. With this compositions, I know, I would always remember California.

Music all YEAR round:

As the seasons change, the way I do things change as well; every season and every month feels different, the music I play is different, the resulting of that is the music for this specific project that focused all my efforts in creating music to play all year round.

Approved MEASURES:

In this collection, I wanted to acknowledge some works of my favorite composers by borrowing bits and pieces of their music, to include among my own compositions, as I continue sharing bits and pieces of my life through my own music.

Emperor’s NEW clothes:

I know that You know, You know He knows, She knows that We know, We know You know, You definitely know They know. Why then deny the obvious?. The music from this notebook highlights some of the trues that nobody wants to address.

Wonders of MUSIC:

The ability to wonder at the world, somehow, gets opaque as we grew older, fortunately is not lost. The pieces from this collection, invites me to ponder on daily life events, and while I am at it, tried to get answers to the most challenging questions about life, love, nature, and death. 

Before the SUN goes down:

The music from this notebook is an evaluation of pain, lost and the struggles in life that I, at one point or another, had experienced. It is also a reflection of good things happening, and when they do happen, I hope it is before the sun goes down.
